About Doxorubicin Hydrochloride Liposomal 20MG/10ML

USP of Product This is a formulation of the drug doxorubicin hydrochloride that uses nanocarriers. The drug is put inside a phospholipid bilayer vesicle that has polyethylene glycol (PEG) attached to its surface. This coating helps the drug stay in the body longerabout 55 hours in peoplebecause it reduces how easily the body can remove it. Because of this, the liposomes can get through the blood vessels of tumors more easily, delivering a lot of doxorubicin to the tumor while not harming normal tissues.
